The Institute of Management Studies Roorkee, also known as IMS, is situated in the WRFH+G79, Haridwar, Uttarakhand 247667. IMS was founded in 1990 and is part of one of the oldest Conglomerates. IMS has been considered one of the top B-schools in the country for a long time and ranks 55 in India.
The Institute of Management Studies Roorkee has seen remarkable success in placement and uplift in the standard of education and learning under the supervision of chancellor Dr. Urvashi Makkar. The chancellor has examined all possible ways to uplift the university standards to that of international levels and has done an extensive market study to build the right partnerships and collaborations, leading to the best results in campus placement drives.

Online Admission Process
Since the onset of the corona pandemic, most of the admission process has been shifted online at the Institute of Management Studies Roorkee. A candidate who wants to secure admission should visit the institute's official website and click on Apply Now. The candidate must select the desired course and fill in all the mandatory details. There is a nominal application fee of Rs 1200 that is to be paid while applying. The application fee can be paid via credit/debit cards, net banking, or through UPI. Once submitted, the candidate would receive an acknowledgment via SMS and email.

The Institute provides meritorious scholarships in various categories amounting to Rs 2.70 Crores so as to remove financial barriers and fuel intellectual capital. The Institute of Management Studies Roorkee Scholarship also provides the following scholarships:
- Scholarship based on Qualifying Exams - Students can avail of various scholarships based on the percentile secured in the CAT, CMAT, and MAT exams. The scholarship amount ranges from 10-to 20% of the tuition fee.
